This wk, we’re talking about a topic i rarely cover: HANGOVERS. read this as you will ~ hangovers can be substance-related, spiritually-fueled, emotion-based, or just bc you’re over 30 and stayed out past midnight.
i am hangover. hangover is me. I STAYED UP LATE AND HAD VEGAN TACO BELL AFTER 12 AM. so, i’m going full-hangover where i absolutely break format and provide you with an explanation, maybe (?) an excuse (?) for my fuccboi behavior DELIVERING THIS SLETTER LATE.
the time was last night. we went to a concert on a college campus ~ the PINNACLE of the scene of a hangover crime…
we went to a maggie rogers concert (the concert was bomb despite my mixed emotions about her cosplaying as a popstar… though maybe she is one???? there may be a sletter about this but it isn’t this one ok bai) ~ and there’s a thing i noticed last night: the concert apology. concert people over apologize when doing anything; getting up and making you get up (even tho its the only way), being tall (even tho that is genetics), and having any personal belongings in the way (even tho there are no concert coat racks or cubbies).
what a pickle to be in. to be forced to be so smiley and sorry. i didn’t get it last night, but i do get it today. i did you dirty and i love you so much and i hope you stay and just have a good time.
in the end, i decided I’m INTO this hangover. i haven’t felt this *free* in awhile. yes, i missed my *rEsPonSiBiLitiEs*, I let people down, i a little bit feel like sh*t, but BABY I AM ALIVE.
and i will say this - my morning full-waterbottle-chug + tooth brush situation was the best fkn feeling in the whole entire world. TELL ME U RELATE!!!!!!!!
