welcome to what is this regarding? a weekly sletter where we take a critical lewk at wtf’s going on around us. today we’re getting right into it - the trash. i do mean literal trash as fashion, but also spiritually.
i resisted every internet nudge to insert a moschino trash bin lewk - bc as of today, i declare:
TRASH AS FASHUN, THE MEME, IS DED.
its ded not bc it’s bad, not bc it matters, but bc we have MORE TO DO. somehow it STILL fake shocks ppl when a garbage bag is coopted by a luxury fashun house to make a splash for spring with a trash bag. groundbreaking!!!!! i plead that we all let go of the trash - and move onto something critical. ART. but also
so i propose something - something….not so far off from trash, but better than trash.
i suggest: the era of composting.
the era of composting IS CUTE AS HELL!!!!!! it means wearing fruits and vegetable motifs, dressing like a tablecloth or doily, being one with the earth with braids and maybe even some sticks in your hair! it means picnics, sunsets, but don’t be lana del ray i don’t like her aesthetic (CONTROVERSIAL IM SRY!!!!!!)
the time is now to be at one with nature in a way that trash never could. sleep outside!!!!! BE ONE with the stars!!!!! YOU ARE EARTH’S CHILD!!!!
