i was talking about this very topic with hot bf when he explained it to me in words that FINALLY made sense of Tom Cruise, the age old cringy paradox:

wow. all this time i saw this:
and just like that -i understood why guys worldwide were just like yup that’s my guy doing his own stunts and all.
after nearly a decade of emulating SJP wearing gold hitten heel manolos with sport shorts and not ever REALIZING this wasn’t for the bois OR for the *mAnRePeLlEr era* - it was for and bc of SJP!!!!!! Big wookie furs… slip dresses… fringe and lamé, tiny sunglasses… it all was making sense.
OBVIOUSLY these lewks not only slap but speak deeply to me. but men? THEY DON’T GET IT! they feel about SJP the way i so strongly feel about tom cruise.
when i think about TC:SJP it tracks. they each have a *thing* that you can’t quite explain; neither are conventionally hollywood - tom with his scary centered tooth, SJP with her curls and non-delicate features. yet - they each represent so much about their fans. there’s a relatability, a tangible SOMETHING that makes you BELIEVE!

I am team cold brew because that shit’s just lit, liquid focus, hyper focus actually, it is so good to get things done… like the project you’ve been postponing for 3 weeks or to organize around our depressive episode…

My 3 favorite cold brews are: Go Get ‘Em Tiger -arts district location only; Cafe Lyria in Soho; and Cafe Reveille in San Francisco.
what's one great experience brought on bc of cold brew?
My best experience with cold brew was when I was working in all the back end of my business- it really made me get a lot of things done and focus. nobody likes dealing with professional emails, contracts, pitch decks… but it somewhat made me love it all- It was an epiphany between the beauty of commitment & structure.
do you get anxious after cold brew don't lie
I DO I GET HYPER FUCKING ANXIOUS that’s why we love having a snack and hour after it, I don’t get mentally anxious though, it is completely physical, hand shakes and all the good stuff coffee sluts like me love.
what's the worst thing that's ever happened bc of cold brew
I nearly made me shat my pants at an Aarmy class in New York, gosh.. I think it was so extreme that I promised myself I would work in my attachment issues if I made it to the bathroom which is a huge commitment for me.
okay so do you agree iced coffee is better or am i an iced coffee bully
iced coffee is a smoother way into the world of coffee, to me personally it depends on where I’m going and what I am doing, I will never be against a cinnamon topped iced coffee -
but I do stand by cold brew forever, it’s just better overall. More intellectual, just hotter.
Cold brew is that good looking friend we love hanging with because they are hot and therefore are you.
